Google Seller Ratings & rich results

How published reviews and Schema.org help you show ratings in search — and what Merchant Center needs for Seller Ratings.

What Ranqa already publishes

Every public Ranqa company page includes Schema.org AggregateRating when there is at least one published review. That value is the arithmetic mean (not RanqaScore), matching how other review platforms expose ratings to Google.

Structured data on the company page

JSON-LD on your Ranqa page includes Organization, AggregateRating, and a sample of Review objects. That supports review rich results in Google Search when Google considers the page eligible.

  • ratingValue = arithmetic mean of published reviews
  • reviewCount / ratingCount = number of published reviews
  • bestRating 5 · worstRating 1 — negative feedback is never hidden

Seller Ratings in Merchant Center

Google Seller Ratings (stars under Shopping ads) follow Google’s program rules and Merchant Center. Ranqa is a review source with public, crawlable pages and AggregateRating — not a finished Google partner feed today.

  1. Verify your Ranqa page and keep company name and website aligned with Merchant Center.
  2. Link to your Ranqa page from your site (footer or “Read reviews”) so Google can find the source.
  3. Collect invited and organic reviews continuously — Google often requires a minimum volume and a share of positive ratings.
  4. In Merchant Center, follow Google’s current Seller Ratings / review-partner checklist. Contact Ranqa if you need a feed or partner integration later.

Approval and display are decided by Google. Ranqa does not guarantee Seller Ratings in ads.

Product reviews XML feed

Ranqa can generate a Google Product Reviews feed (schema 2.4) for Merchant Center scheduled fetch. It does not replace Google’s interest form/approval — but gives you a ready HTTPS URL.

  1. Create products in Ranqa and fill GTIN, brand, or MPN where possible.
  2. Collect product reviews (invite with productId or CSV import).
  3. Dashboard → API → create feed URL.
  4. In Merchant Center: Product ratings → scheduled fetch → paste the URL.

Checklist before you apply

  • Public Ranqa page with visible reviews and AggregateRating
  • Domain and company name consistent across site, Ranqa, and Merchant Center
  • No hidden negative reviews — Ranqa does not allow that
  • Widget or link to Ranqa on your website
  • Post-purchase invites only — no discounts or gifts offered in exchange for reviews (Google partner rule)
  • Enough eligible post-fulfillment reviews in your country (Google often cites ~100+ for store ratings; product ratings need 50+ across the catalog)

Dashboard checklist

After you verify the page, open the AI/SEO pack for Schema status, feed URL, feed-ready product counts, and agent JSON — the same artifacts Google and AI systems can crawl.

Google partner programs (Ranqa is not approved yet)

Store Ratings and Product Ratings stars in Shopping ads require an approved review aggregator or Google Customer Reviews. Ranqa publishes crawlable ratings today; a formal Google partner feed is on our roadmap.

  • Store Ratings — post-fulfillment merchant reviews syndicated by approved partners (Google adds ~1–2 new partners globally per year).
  • Product Ratings — separate program; XML feed schema 2.4 and Merchant Center onboarding.
  • Ranqa already excludes imported historical reviews from Google feeds; verified purchase requires an order reference.
  • Contact [email protected] when you need feed URLs or domain alignment help — we do not claim Google partner status in marketing.

Approval and display are always decided by Google. See Google’s Store Rating Partner Requirements and Product Ratings eligibility for official rules.
